3M Powerflow PAPR Kit 6900PF, Large, Protection Against Respiratory Hazards

The 3M powered air purifying respirator helps provide respiratory protection against dust, mist, fumes, radionuclides, and radon daughters. Lightweight and face-mounted, it uses a high-efficiency particulate filter. When used in accordance with 3M recommendations and user instructions, it has a US OSHA APF 1000. The respirator is economically priced and features a compact design that fits closely with the wearer.

Face-mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs) offer all the features of powered air-purifying respirators, including increased wearer comfort and compatibility with glasses. They can provide respiratory protection and may increase wearer productivity without the need to wear a motorized blower unit at the waist.

Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs) are motorized systems powered by a battery pack that draws air through a filter or cartridge to provide respiratory protection to the wearer. The blower unit can be mounted on the waist, face, or head, depending on the system selected.

The Powerflow system delivers a minimum of 4cfm when used with the filter. It uses the popular 6000 Series facepiece, and its face shield meets the impact and penetration requirements of ANSI Z87.1-2003. The complete system includes the medium-full facepiece, 6800DIN, motor blower unit, battery pack, and flow meter. It is approved for use with high-efficiency particulate filters only.

The system features an eight-hour battery, is lightweight and well-balanced, and is ideal for use in lead, asbestos, and other hazardous particulate environments. The NiCd rechargeable battery and HE filters are included, and the full face piece headgear is intrinsically safe.

The 3M PAPR 6900PF kit includes the large full facepiece 6900DIN, motor blower unit, battery pack, battery charger, and flow indicator. It is approved for use with high-efficiency particulate filters only and has a US OSHA APF 1000 when used in accordance with 3M recommendations and user instructions.

The face-mounted PAPR may increase wearer productivity without the need to wear a motorized blower unit at the waist. The battery-powered blower pulls the air through the filter, resulting in no additional breathing resistance to the wearer, and can provide up to eight hours of battery service.
